His music is steeped in dubstep and drum’n’bass, the epic pop constructions of Michael Jackson, glossy soul, hi-tech funk, dextrous jazz fusion, electro, even prog.

A self-taught producer, drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboard player and turntablist, he stumbled across a new kind of future-funk after entering the world of computer music. Over a series of releases he has established himself as a “mad maximalists” akin to Rustie and Hudson Mohawke.

Bobby has remixed AlunaGeorge, DJ Fresh, Niki & the Dove, Foreign Beggars, Wretch 32, Loadstar, Rudi Zygadlo, Jessie Ware, Neil Davidge’s Halo 4 OST and many more.

He has DJ’d all over the world with the likes of DJ Fresh, Annie Mac, Skream and Madeon and won the support of the hippest blogs. His single Afterburn achieved over 100 spins between Radio 1 and XFM CapitalFM and many others, helping it achieve hit the top 10 in the iTunes electronic chart. And now he’s moving ever forwards with his music with his unique brand of melodic, synth-heavy, 80s Funk inspired pop-conscious future garage.

Prior to signing with MofoHifi, SONY OneLove, MTA Records, Kitsune Maison, Bobby released tracks through Vermin Street, Aisuru, Project Mooncircle and Prime Dub and more.

Bobby Tank is come back this fall 2020 with a new Single « Smthngelse », a track in prelude of his upcoming new full Singles « Balderunners » on Cascade Records.
